Lancaster teen becomes Instagram singing sensation with lockdown talent show success

Olivia Mulqueeney, 14, won a top Instagram talent competition which featured British rapper, singer and songwriter Stefflon Don and was sponsored by young women's fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing.
To feature on the talent show, Olivia had to request to go live with the rapper, and fought off competition from thousands to feature on the show.

Hide AdAnd she impressed everyone so much that she scooped the £500 top prize - as well as impressing Pretty Little Thing enough for them to send her a parcel of clothes.
Stefflon Don had guest judges on the show at different times, including rappers Mist and Will-i-am, DJ Khaled, Idris Elba, Sean Paul and Lisa Maffia.
Olivia also won another contest which featured record producer Steel Banglez, and reached the final of another.
She has also written her first song, which is about the NHS and the importance of staying home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hide AdIt had more than 14,000 views within 12 hours of being released online.
Proud mum Cheryl said: "She's fast become a bit of a Instagram star since lockdown and it's such a positive, especially at this time, we're so proud of her."
