Disruption to rail services from Lancaster and Blackburn due to flooded tracks

Due to flooding in the Wennington area, trains are unable to run between Skipton and Lancaster.

Hide AdNorthern rail has warned that services may be cancelled or delayed due to the flooding.
A spokesperson for Northern Rail said: "Due to flooding between Lancaster and Skipton some lines are blocked.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes."
Disruption is expected until 2pm today for services between Skipton and Lancaster. (February 24).

Hide Ad- 2A Travellers Choice coach will run from Lancaster to Skipton at 12.45pm.
- A Phantom coach will run from Skipton to Lancaster departing at 12:53.
Road transport operated by Paul Orrell and Phantom will also run between Clitheroe and Blackburn in both directions.
Northern has stated that these buses will depart from Clitheroe at 9.25am and Blackburn at 9.35am, and then every hour afterwards until the train service can be reinstated.
